OK after getting into the trails where carnage was likely I decided it was time to get another truck. I was looking for either another X or a pathfinder used. Preferably something with a front bumper/bull bar with all the deer and elk up here. I looked for about 9 months then stumbled on this one for 8500 I didnt want to spend that much so I kept looking and 2 months later I found it online again but the price had dropped to 6500.

So I called him up made an offer and 2 weeks later I was on a plane to New York City. No clue where I was going having never been to the big apple. After landing at Laguardia I jumped into a cab and tried to explain to the East Indian cab driver to just drop me off near pier 62. He kept asking me where near I told him it does not matter just with in a Block. He thought I was nuts because I had no clue where I was going really.

So I met up with Jared we went over the truck and then off to NJ to drop him off an begin the Journey home back to Colorado. After catching Dinner at the local tavern and a beer right next to the Atlantic Ocean I jumped into the X and started to head west. Now I had never been to NY or NJ so this next part is kinda funny. I stopped to get gas, there was this guy standing there at the pump and asks for my credit card. I just looked at him and said ... ummm NO. So I began to grab the pump to pump the gas and he pushed my hand away, He had a heavy accent from Egypt I believe, and told me I could not pump my gas. I was looked at him and said "WHAT??". So after a few minutes apparently it is illegal for you to pump your own gas in NJ. Ok.... why I dont have a clue but fill it up so I can just get across the state line.

The next two days were fairly uneventful.... except Iowa...

So after 3 days of Interstate driving I made it back home... South Park... Heart of the Rockies. With this in the Driveway.
